Makers Fair Review from a Vendor
Saturday was a snowy and rainy day, I am sure kept some people under their cover at home. The people that attended, volunteer and vendor all brought the sun in the commons area. The warm feeling of all working for a common cause was great.
This was a wonderful experience to meet the two young men that are working with the AVID program at BVSW. They came up with this idea to make money for a special cause of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I saw multiple vendors with a variety of products. Some of the sells went directly to the society, some a percentage of the sells went, and some donated items to be auctioned off in a silent auction via the purchase of tickets.
I have to say all the participants and volunteers were amazing people to spend the day for a great cause. Meeting people at events like these always makes me happy to see people doing selfless acts of kindness.
